Technical Service Bulletin Workshop findings: One of the following DTCs are logged in the rear axle wheel steering control module, J1019 (address word 00CB): • B200FF0 with symptom code 251 and/or 129 or • C12A329 with symptom code 224 Technical Background The software for the rear axle wheel steering control module needs to be updated. Production Solution Improved software for the rear axle wheel steering control module. Service SVM Update Instructions 1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions. 2. This step only applies to symptom code 251 (For the remaining symptom codes, go to step 3). Perform the basic setting in the self-diagnosis of the J1019 control unit. (When doing so, use service login 20103). 3. Technical Service Bulletin • Go as far as the tolerance limits for negative camber and positive toe (toe-in) on the rear axle. • Select the center of the tolerance range for the toe on the front axle.
