The GEN 1 Husky 3 f oam pump from FSC is being discontinued. To keep supporting our customers, a conversion
kit is available to install the GEN 2 Husky 3 f oam pump in place of the GEN 1.
Purpose:
To communicate with the Pierce dealer network and customers that a conversion kit is available to replace the
discontinued GEN 1 pump when a replacement is needed.
Description:
The discontinued GEN 1 Husky 3 pump (Pierce p/n 2851584) uses a blue box signal conditioner for the position
transducer in the foam pump. The GEN 2 Husky 3 pump (Pierce p/n 3267102) uses a transducer that does not
require a signal conditioner. (See Figure 1)

In the event you need to replace a GEN 1 pump, a conversion kit is available which includes the GEN 2 pump and
two harnesses which will allow a direct install.
