​Model 579 chassis with full roof fairing built from 7/24/2017 through current production.
Action
Fix-As-Fail
If a customer comes into your dealership and demonstrates the condition above, install the roof fairing
reinforcement kit. Use the procedure below.
Warranty
Through Standard Warranty or any applicable active Extended Warranty, Peterbilt will pay for parts at dealer
net plus applicable mark-up and labor:
1.5 hours labor to install the roof fairing reinforcement kit. Use Quick Claim code 04019.
If the Recommended Repair / Quick Claim is not available, file a long form claim.
If filing in DWC file a long form claim
File an additional claim for extraordinary circumstances. A quick claim for standard labor must be filed
first.
Take-Off Parts Disposition: Destroy take-off parts 30 days after the claim is paid.
