Secure vehicle for service.
Position drive wheels in the straight-ahead position.
Disconnect Batteries.
Remove both right and left side grab handles and A-pillar panels.
5. Remove both right and left side upper dash bezel.

6. Remove the mounting hardware and dash cover.

7. Cut the ties holding the protective sleeve covering the joint. Pull back the protective
sleeve to gain access to the shaft yokes.
8. Inspect all three steering shaft connections and mounting hardware. Ensure the shaft is
fully splined and properly retained.

9. Ensure all shaft hardware is marked with torque marking paste.
a. For every vehicle inspected, the below items are required to be Emailed to:
[email protected]
i. VIN of the vehicle
ii. Pictures of all three steering shaft connections
iii. Mileage/hours of the vehicle
iv. Contact information for service personal
b. If steering shaft connections are found to be incorrect, send an email with
attachments and await farther instructions from the reporting email.
c. If steering shafts connections are fault free, reassemble the vehicle in reverse
order and release to customer.
