A customer may report that “Power Steering Reduced” message displays on the
message center on start-up with a reduction in steering assist.
Technical Description:

This may be caused by voltage dipping to low to the Power Steering Control
Module (PSCM) during start-up.

Revised PSCM software has been created to address this concern and was
released on PATHFINDER version 367.
SSM75704 has been published to address this concern.
Most 21MY and all 22MY vehicles can be updated using TOPIx Cloud.
For 20MY and some 21MY vehicles a TA case may need to be submitted to
obtain a Manual Patch file for PATHFINDER, until TOPIx Cloud is updated to cover
PSCM programming on those models.
