This bulletin provides the procedures to repair the condition by replacing the affected license plate lamps. Applicable Vehicles: Certain 2022MY Tucson (NX4/NX4A) and Tucson Hybrid (NX4 HEV) vehicles equipped with LED type lamps. Circulate To: General Manager, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Warranty Manager, Service Advisors, Technicians, Body Shop Manager, Fleet Repair SUBJECT: LICENSE PLATE LAMP PARTIAL REPAIR PROCEDURES Service Procedure: 1. Record radio presets and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the lift gate trim (A). Refer to the shop manual for the complete replacement procedure: Body (Interior and Exterior) > Liftgate > Liftgate Trim 3. A Remove the rear center combination lamp (B). Refer to the shop manual for the complete replacement procedure: Body Electrical System > Lighting System > Rear Combination Lamp > Rear Inside Combination Lamp B 4. Press the upper tabs (C) to disconnect the license plate lamp(s) from the rear center combination lamp. C 5. Replace the affected license plate lamp(s). 6. Install parts in reverse order of removal. 7. After connecting the negative (-) battery terminal, be sure to reprogram radio presets. 8.
