GROUP ENGINE DATE Technical Service Bulletin SUBJECT: APRIL 2022 NUMBER 22-EM-006H-1 MODEL(S) APPLICABLE VEHICLES BELOW ENGINE WARRANTY EXTENSION (TXXM) This TSB supersedes 22-EM-006H to add the 2019 MY Sonata Hybrid/Plug-in, 2019-21 MY Tucson (TL), and 2020 MY Elantra GT (PD) to the Applicable Vehicles list. Description: The Powertrain warranty coverage for certain engine repairs and/or replacement where the engine damage or malfunction is related to connecting rod bearing wear, has been extended to 15 years or 150,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use, whichever occurs first, and is valid for original and subsequent owners. Please refer to TSB 22-01-024H-1 (or latest version) for applicable campaign part numbers and labor ops. If there are no applicable campaign labor op codes for certain models/model years available in the above TSB, please follow instructions on TSB 22-01-024H-1 (or latest version) on page 2, #3 Special Exception Cases.
