 Submission of VIN Coding System

 

Dear VIN Coordinator,

In accordance with the requirements of 49 CFR§565.16(d), Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) hereby submits a summary of the VIN coding system for the 2018 model heavy-duty electric vehicles manufactured by MFTBC.

MFTBC eCanter (heavy duty electric vehicle) is powered by battery system; following are the detailed specification of the vehicle.

  • Electric motor model: S30
  • Electric motor power (kW): 135kW/10000rpm,  maximum 30 minutes power: 115kW/4500rpm
  • Number of battery pack per vehicle: 6 packs connected in parallel

  • Number of battery cells per module and battery energy (kWh) :50 cells per module and 13.8kWh(365V x 37.8Ah) /pack(2 modules connected in series)
