Pursuant to 49 CFR 565.16(d), North American Subaru, Inc. (NASI), on behalf of SUBARU CORPORATION, submits the attached information necessary for NHTSA to decipher the characters contained in the vehicle identification numbers (“VINs”) on all model year 2022 Subaru and Toyota GR 86 vehicles to be sold in the United States.

The enclosed updates our previous response dated July 13, 2021 (Ref. No. GR21-019). Specifically, this update adds VIN decoding information for model year 2022 Subaru WRX, Crosstrek (gasoline-only), and Crosstrek Hybrid vehicles.
