  • CA Recall: Brakes
    On certain passat and passat wagon, a vacuum line may fracture and become disconnected at low ambient temperatures. if this happens, brake power assist could become inoperative. as a result, the driver would experience increased effort to apply the brakes and therefore possible increased vehicle stopping distance. this could lead to a crash without warning. correction: dealers will install a re-designed vacuum line.
