My 2014 thor hurrican loses wiper functions when windy. I was traveling down a mountain side on i-15 outside victorville during a light/moderate rain storm. The wind started to increase which caused the passenger side wiper arm to go below the window and the drivers side to go past its normal stop on the side of the front windshield causing the wipers to cease normal operation. I had no way of stopping since i could not see to the side of the road. Once on level ground i repositioned the wipers and everything worked fine till the next gust of wind and i was back to the original condition. Again realigned the wipers only this time i turned the wiper switch off and on which temporarily resolved the issue. When looking at the mounting bracket of the wiper motor, i could see it bow dramatically during the wiper sweep. Contacted thor and they claim they had not seen this condition before and recommende i take it to the chassis dealer ( had recalls that needed performing) no fix identified by thor.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 thor hurricane recreational vehicle. The contact stated that the awning material was defective. The awning fabric ripped and the slide out released independently. The dealer replaced the slide out mechanism, but the failure recurred multiple times. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 19,000. A couple of cardboard storage boxes were stored in an exterior storage compartment of our rv and the storage light was not turned on. Arriving at our destination an hour and a half later i opened the storage compartment to find a hole burned in the storage light lens, a burn mark on the cardboard storage box and the light switch could not be moved to turn off the light (appeared to be melted in place). I had to remove the lens and bulb. *kb
