Correction: dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper arms.
Recall 2016035 [Canada]: Accessories
On certain motorhomes equipped with lippert components inc. Electric entry steps, an internal bolt on the steps that attaches the fan gear assembly to the steps could fracture. This results in the fan gear disengaging from the steps, which could cause the steps to stop in an unexpected position and appear to be loose or unstable. If the steps become unstable, it could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: dealers will install a step retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, and all bolts of the mechanism will also be replaced.
Recall 2014264 [Canada]: Lights and instruments
On certain vehicles, the clearance lights may not have been adequately sealed at time of manufacture, allowing water ingress. This could cause an electrical short, potentially resulting in a fire, and cause the lights to fail, decreasing vehicle conspicuity. These issues could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will replace the affected lights and install an inline fuse.
Recall 2013009 [Canada]: Electrical
On certain vehicles, the connector for the brake and cruise control signal diode jumper assembly may come loose, resulting in a possible intermittent or continuously open circuit. Two circuits are potentially affected. One circuit disengages the cruise control with brake pedal application, and the other circuit illuminates the brake lights with brake application. Failure of the cruise control to disengage, or of the brake lights to illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed, could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will verify that the locking tabs on the diode jumper assembly connector are fully engaged and locked into place.
Recall 2012093 [Canada]: Other
On certain motorhomes, the cable for the transmission range indicator "prnd321" on the instrument cluster may be damaged by a sharp edge on the shift lever arm. If the indicator cable is cut, the indicator will remain in the "1" position (first gear) regardless of what gear is actually selected. With no gear indication, the operator may inadvertently select an incorrect gear, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: ford dealers will replace the transmission selector arm and indicator assembly.
Recall 2011399 [Canada]: Engine
On certain motorhomes equipped with a cummins engine, the v-band clamps used to connect the inlet and outlet cone sections to the diesel oxidation catalyst (doc) / diesel particulate filter (dpf) include a t-bolt which can fracture and fail when subjected to stress or load. A fracture or failure of the t-bolt may cause the clamp to loosen and the inlet or outlet sections attached to the doc/dpf housing to disconnect. Should this occur, hot exhaust gases can vent prior to exiting the tailpipe, creating a risk of combustion or damage to adjacent materials, which could result in a vehicle fire. If both clamps fail, the doc/dpf housing could detach completely, separate from the vehicle, and strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander. These issues could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: cummins will install updated v-band clamps.
Recall 2011050 [Canada]: Accessories
Certain refrigerators used in recreational vehicles (rvs) contain either a sensing algorithm or a thermal switch to interrupt power when it detects high temperatures that could lead to a fire. A propane leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire and/or explosion, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the oven supply tube.
Recall 2018226 [Canada]: Steering
On certain vehicles built on a freightliner xbr chassis, a rubber-coated braided power steering hose may have inadequate clearance to the starter power stud due to incorrect routing. This could cause the power steering hose to rub against the stud on the starter motor, which could cause an electrical arc and a power steering fluid leak. A power steering leak in the presence of an electrical arc could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. A power steering fluid leak could also require additional steering effort which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: daimler trucks of north america service facilities will reroute the power steering hose to ensure proper clearance to starter stud.
Recall 2018046 [Canada]: Accessories

The allegro red has two diesel fuel filling ports. It is a rear engine diesel and i fill up at truck stops where they have a fuel pump on either side. Many truck drivers use both pumps to shorted the fill time. However, the passenger's side fill is lower than the driver's side and if you use both pumps, you can overflow the passenger's side fill and spill diesel fuel because the driver's side pump does not know the tank is filled to the level of the passenger side opening. Tiffin is aware of the problem, but no warnings has been posted to owners. I had the problem twice before i was aware of the situation and called them. Nothing has been done except to tell me not to use both sides at the same time.
