Dear Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Owner:
This notice is being sent to advise you about an important Product Improvement Campaign involving the
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck identified above.
REASON FOR THIS CAMPAIGN: On affected vehicles, improper waterproofing at the fuel filter assembly water
sensor may allow water to enter and short circuit the sensor, causing the “WATER SEPR” warning lamp to
illuminate.
WHAT WE WILL DO: The fuel filter assembly will be inspected and if an affected assembly is found to be
installed in your truck, it will be replaced. The procedure will be completed at no cost to you when performed by
an Authorized Dealer or Parts and Service Center. The scheduled time for repair is approximately 0.5 to 0.6 hour.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: For your continued satisfaction, please contact any Authorized Mitsubishi Fuso
Dealer or Parts and Service Center to schedule an appointment for this procedure. Refer to this Product
Improvement Campaign Notification letter when speaking with Dealer Service Department personnel.
