Technical Service Bulletin Technical Background If the headlight switch is moved to an intermediate position and remains there, the warning light and the message appear after about 10 seconds. Once displayed, the message is turned off after about 5 seconds. The light bulb symbol is turned off only after the headlight switch is turned to a defined position, and the status of DTC 03280 is changed to sporadic. Figure 1. The error message in the instrument cluster. After 40 driving cycles without an implausible signal detected, the DTC is automatically cleared. Production Solution Not applicable. Service Check whether the above situation applies and explain the background to the customer. Replacing parts does not change the behavior.
