SB-10052308-7122 File in Section: Service Bulletin Bulletin No.: Date: PIC5856 May, 2013 PRELIMINARY INFORMATION Subject: Check Engine Lamp with DTC P0C58 Or P0C62 Models: 2011-2013 Chevrolet Volt The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern Customer comes in the dealer with a Check Engine Lamp with a current or history code P0C58 and P0C62. Recommendation/Instructions If you experience this concern and can't find a concern after checking wiring and following normal diagnosis, please replace the Motor B Position Sensor (Resolver) to resolve the concern. Please see the latest version of PI: PIP4840 on how to obtain the part as it is on restriction through the GM Technical Assistance Center (TAC). After replacement of the Motor B Position Sensor (Resolver), make sure you check that the Drive Motor Generator Control Module (PIM) has the latest calibration. Warranty Information For vehicles repaired under warranty use: Labor Operation Description Labor Time K6950 Drive Motor Position Sensor Stator Replacement Use Published Labor Operation Time Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
