Background
American Honda (AHM) is investigating certain 2011-2012 Accord L4s with a complaint of an ATF (automatic
transmission fluid) leak from the driveshaft seals. To fully understand the cause of this occurrence, AHM would like to
collect specific part from the vehicle prior to you attempting a repair of any kind.
Qualifiers
AHM is interested ONLY if the vehicle meets the following requirements:
1. L4 automatic transmission only..
2. Vehicle must have at least 15,000 miles.
3. 2-door & 4-door are okay.
4. First time complaint only.
5. No prior repair history.
Action Required
If you have or know of such a vehicle, please call Technical Research & Support (TRS) Group at 800-880-1072. TRS will need to record certain
vehicle information and provide you with further instructions.
