Condition/Concern
Some customers may comment on a service rear axle message displayed on the drivers information center (DIC).

Technicians may find DTC C0407 set due to the connector on the pump motor, located behind the lower edge of the
rear fascia, not properly seated as shown in the illustration above.
Recommendation/Instructions
Technicians should perform the following inspection:

Inspect the connector to see if a white dot is present as shown in the illustration above. If a white dot is on the
connector, follow SI for further diagnostic procedures. The connector has already been inspected at the plant.
If the connector doesn’t have a white dot, inspect and fully re-seat if loose, then clear any DTCs set or in history.
