SB-10057984-7338 File in Section: Service Bulletin Bulletin No.: Date: PIC6080 March, 2015 PRELIMINARY INFORMATION Subject: SES light With Multiple High Voltage Battery Performance Codes Models: 2011-2014 Chevrolet Volt 2014 Cadillac ELR 2014 Opel Ampera The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern Some customers may experience a SES light and a reduce propulsion message with Multiple Battery voltage performance codes Recommendation/Instructions If you are experiencing this concern, please have him perform the following diagnosis: 1. Record all the DTCs in a session log and see if the cell performance codes are all related to one battery interface module, 2. If all the multiple Cell Performance codes across the pack are in multiple sections, please have the dealer update the HPCM2 and the BECM with the latest calibrations in TIS-2-Web andthen road test the vehicle and make sure no performance code return. If codes return, contact the Technical Assistance Center @ 877-446-8227 (U.S.) or in Canada 1-800-263-7740 (English) or 1-800-263-7960 (French) to review case details If no codes return, release the vehicle back to the customer. 3. If the Cell Performance codes are related to one battery interface module, please contact the Technical Assistance Center for further direction. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
