Cleaning Axle Hubs When Installing Brake Discs
It is imperative that when installing brake discs (front or rear) the excessive corrosion I scaling (Figure 1),
which may have developed on the axle hub, be removed. Use the "ATE Teves Hub Cleaning Kit" released
via automatic delivery to remove the corrosion I scaling over the entire area where the brake disc mounts to
the hub flange.
Failure to remove the corrosion I scaling may cause an excessive build-up which can create adverse forces
that may result in brake vibrations I judder.
