Retail Hold - Vehicles may only be retailed once all aspects of the Customer One Action have been performed. Owner Notification - It is imperative that the vehicles subject to this Customer One Action get to the dealer quickly. MBUSA requests dealers contact their retail customers as a measure to increase customer relationship building. This enables the dealer to build a relationship with the customer pro-actively and not reactively after the customer has had a flat tire. We encourage dealers to invite these customers (by phone or mail) to have the repair performed. ~- Dealer may order parts as required for vehicles in inventory and prior retails. Do not order more than required. Parts are in limited supply. Warranty - The damage code for this Customer One Action will not be available until early next week. Please perform the repair and submit warranty claim when damage code is made available. Monroney Labels - Replacement Monroney labels (Dealer inventory ONLY) will arrive at your dealer by Thursday, May 30. No replacement Monroney labels are to be provided to previously retailed vehicles. Action Details MBUSA has initiated this Customer One Action because it has been determined that run flat tires were not installed on the affected vehicles. Due to the limited availability of run flat tires from the supplier, an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will install a Tirefit kit, an operator's manual supplement and a new Monroney label reflecting the installation of standard tires on all dealer inventory prior to retail sale to correct this condition. Customers with vehicles affected by this Customer 1 Action, retailed prior to this date, are to be contacted and a Tirefit kit, and an operator's manual supplement installed. The customer will be reimbursed by the dealer for the difference in tire costs which may be claimed by the action. A copy of the campaign bulletin is attached, and may also be found on StarTeklnfo. When scheduling customers for an appointment please ensure that you are aware of any open campaigns in VMI so that the customer is advised about the time necessary to complete all campaigns. Note: VMI must always be checked before performing campaigns to verify that the campaign is required on a specific vehicle. Dealers may also identify vehicles subject to a campaign through NetStar by selecting "Campaign" under the Controlling tab. Only vehicles that have been retailed by the respective dealer will be displayed within this program. While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is determined to maintain a high level of vehicle quality and customer satisfaction. Please refer all customer inquiries to the Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-FOR_MERCedes (1-800-367-6372). @ Mercedeg....Benz ~ are registered trademarks of Daimler Stuttgart, Germany 1 ffi Cl Mercedes-Benz SUBJECT: Action 2013 Date: May Action No.: C1A-130501 Group: 40 Model X204 (GLK 250 BT) with AMG Styling Package 321 Model Year 2013 Install Tire Fit Kit, Replace Monroney Label MBUSA has initiated this Customer One Action because it has been determined that run flat tires were not installed on the affected vehicles.
