Software Calibration Number (SCN) Code - Front SAM
This Service Campaign has been initiated because Daimler AG (DAG), the manufacturer of MercedesBenz vehicles, has determined that the parking lamps may be too bright in the subject vehicles . Dealers
will update the SCN code in the front SAM to correct this condition at the next workshop visit
Prior to performing this Service Campaign:

Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously
•
Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the repair procedure exactly as

Procedure
Note:
•
Use Xentry 11/12 with all associated patches or higher.
•
Follow the steps exactly as described in Xentry.
•
Connect battery charger (battery voltage >12.5V).
1. Connect Star Diagnosis to vehicle.
2. SCN code SAM-F control module: Control unit I Adaptations I SCN codi ng .

Follow on-screen instructions.
