Please note that the state of charge (SOC) of the high-voltage battery must be checked before every control
unit programming procedure. The SOC value must be read from the instrument cluster or COMAND (under
hybrid functions).
If the SOC shows a value< 50 % , the high-voltage battery must be recharged (charging when stationary).

The high-voltage battery must be charged to a state of charge of 75 % SOC before a control unit is
programmed with Xentry Diagnostics. If the SOC is between 5 % and 10 %, the HV contactors of the highvoltage battery must be closed manually.
Please note that there are two different procedures depending on which XENTRY DAS version is used. Jn
both cases, a password must be requested from the SDS HelpDesk.
