If you encounter a customer complaint relating to the vehicle not producing and audible tone ,
or horn chirp, and the pa rking lamps not flashing when locking the vehicle with the RKE fob ,
check to make sure the rubber hood stopper (A) is in place on the hood. The rubber stopper
depresses the hood switch (B) and if not in place, may cause this condition , and may also
prevent the alarm system from operating correctly.
