REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify customer concern.
2. Remove the affected front seat assembly: Refer to MS3-online orWbrkshop Manual (section 09-13. FRONT·
'
SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).

3. Remove seat track from seat base. Refer to MS3 online or Workshop Manual (section 09-13 SEAT TRACK
REMOVAUINSTALLATION).4. Clean the track assembly with a wax and·greaseTemover and allow to dry. Use Mazda Brake Parts Cleaner
or equivalent
5. Remove rust and corrosion using 220-gril sanapaper. ·
6. Blow loose material from the seat track with compressed air, and clean again with Mazda Brake Parts
Cleaner or equivalent
7. Mask the motor and harness (A).
