If a customer expresses any concerns that the SRS airbags or pre-tensioner devices did not perform as expected (including an unintended deployment event) , please follow the steps in the recommendations section below. RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Open a Repair Order for any vehicle with an SRS performance concern . 2. Record specific details from the customer on the operating conditions when the concern occu rred in the Repair Order. 3. Perform a Techstream HealthCheck and record any stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes. 4. Open a Technical Assistance case (TAS) with all relevant details and call for diagnostic support.
