This PI was superseded to remove parts from restriction. Please discard PIP4896C.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern
The Control Solenoid (w/ Body and TCM) Valve Assembly Part Number 24255209 and Valve Body Part Number
29544409 have been removed from the PQC parts restriction effective 08/13/2012. Calls to the PQC are no longer
necessary.

Please follow the published service information diagnostics and if your diagnostics lead to TEHCM or Valve Body
replacement, parts can be ordered through your parts department.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is
resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
