In an effort to gain information, we are asking that you contact the Audi Technical Assistance Center (TAC) before replacing any parts. This will assist us in diagnosing any potential issues with the condition noted above. Technical Service Bulletin Service 1. Verify that the customer complaint matches the condition described in the Condition section at the top of this TSB. 2. If the vehicle is within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, complete the attached brake noise questionnaire. 3. Obtain a sound recording of the brake noise (a cell phone recording is acceptable as long as the noise can be clearly identified). 4. Attach a completed questionnaire and sound recording to the TAC ticket. A sound recording is necessary to help determine the root cause of the noise and to help resolve the concern. If you are not able to attach these documents to the TAC ticket, email them to: [email protected]. 5. Contact a TAC consultant before proceeding with any repairs.
