CONDITION
The vehicle will not start or ready-on and the steering wheel lock is engaged so that the steering
wheel may only be turned very little from side-to-side.
HINT: The above listed vehicles are equipped with an LED indicator on the "ENGINE START STOP"
or "POWER" switch , which will flash green in the event that the steering lock actuator is unable
to disengage from the steering column.
If the operator attempts to ready-on or start the vehicle whi le there is tension on the steering lock
actuator, it wi ll not be able to fu lly disengage when the "ENGINE START STOP" or "POWER" switch is
depressed. This condition will cause the "ENGINE START STOP" or "POWER" switch 's LED to flash
green and the vehicle will fail to ready-on or start.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Gently move the steering wheel from side-to-side to relax tension on the steering lock actuator. Once
the steering lock actuator is free to disengage, the vehicle will be able to successfully ready-o n.
