SUBJECT: Recall 108 - Veloster Panoramic Sunroof Inspection Kit
- Tube Measurement
TO:
Hyundai Motor America is requesting all Dealers to measure ALL the PVC
pipes (00305 FSPVC) provided in the Inspection Kit (00305 FSKIT). Some
of the PVC pipes provided maybe longer than the required length
specification of 19.5" ± 0.5". Please do the following:
• Measure the length of the two (2) PVC tubes received in the
00305-FSKIT to ensure they meet the required length
specification (19.5" ± 0.5").
• If the PVC tube DOES NOT meet the required length
specification, please cut any length beyond 19.5" ± 0.5"
BEFORE conducting any additional vehicle inspections.
Using PVC tube longer than 19.5" ± 0.5" may result in unnecessary
glass replacement.
