On October 16 , 2014 , Hyundai Motor America announced Recall Campaign
124 to install a front spring protector on certain 2001 - 2006 Santa
Fe model vehicles .
Technical Service Bulletin #14-01-040 (available on HyundaiDealer . com)
provides the details of the recall and the service procedure to
install the front spring protector .
HMA will begin mailing the final Customer Notification Letters starting
October 24, 2014 .
It is IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT A RECALL CAMPAIGN CLAIM FOR EACH VEHICLE
SERVICED so your dealership can be compensated for your work and
Hyundai can maintain accurate records of campaign completions .
