Squeak Noise Heard When Operating Clutch Pedal
Models:
2010-2015 Chevrolet Cruze
With manual transmission M32
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern
Some customers may comment on a squeak noise when operating the clutch pedal. This condition may be due to
incompatibility between the plastic pivot pin and the plastic clutch pedal.
Recommendation/Instructions
Please contact GM TAC if you are working on a 2010-2015 Chevrolet Cruze (with manual transmission M32) with the
concern of a squeak noise when operating the clutch pedal.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is
resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
