PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
Subject:
Rear Vision Camera Display Flickers During Shutdown
Models:
Buick LaCrosse
2014 Cadillac ATS, CTS, SRX, XTS
2014 Chevrolet Corvette, Impala, Silverado 1500
2014 GMC Sierra 1500
Condition/Concern (Corvette Only)
Some customers may comment that the rear vision camera (RVC) service screen only shows up for a short while or
sporadically and may flicker during shutdown.
Condition/Concern
Some customers may comment that the rear vision camera (RVC) display remains Active and displays "Service
Rear Camera System" while the vehicle is in DRIVE and will not turn off until the vehicle is shifted to Reverse or the
vehicle is turned off.
Recommendation/Instructions
Do not replace any module for this concern. A software update is being developed and will be released once the
update is available.
Customer Information
Please communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working
on a solution for this concern. Once a solution is available, this PI will be updated with additional details - allowing
dealership personnel to contact the customer to schedule a service appointment and repair the vehicle.
