File in Section: Service Bulletin Bulletin No.: Date: PI1077 October, 2013 PRELIMINARY INFORMATION Subject: Information for Control Module Part Service Name Using Mixed References – Fuel Pump Control Module vs Chassis Control Module Models: 2014 Buick Enclave 2014 Cadillac CTS Coupe, Wagon, CTS-V, Escalade 2014 Chevrolet Express, Impala Limited, Silverado 2500-3500 HD, Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse 2014 GMC Acadia, Savana, Sierra 2500-3500 HD, Yukon, Yukon XL Information Beginning in the 2014 model year, most vehicles completed the transition to the component part service name Chassis Control Module in all publications and service tools, consolidating the former component part service names of: Fuel Pump Control Module, Fuel Pump Flow Control Module, Fuel System Control Module and Fuel Pump/Trailer Brake Control Module. During this transition a limited number of vehicles will continue to reference the original component part service names in Service Information (SI) diagnostics and schematics while the Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) and GDS 2 may refer to the component part service names as Chassis Control Module. In order to help clarify the use of these mixed references, the part service name Chassis Control Module, along with the original component part service name which will be preceded by AKA:, will be used in the Service Programming System (SPS) and in Service Information routing tables such as the Control Module References and Master Component Lists.
