Tech Tips Date: October 26, 2012 TT 96-12-08 2004-2010 Touareg – Access/Start Module Fault 00183 “Interior Access/Start Authorization Antenna 1-R138” Diagnosis Tip When diagnosing Access/start fault 00183, be aware that the fault can indicate a concern with either the R138 Interior Access/Start Authorization Antenna 1 or the R137 Luggage Compartment Access/Start Authorization Antenna. It is recommended to start by following normal Guided Fault Finding (GFF) diagnosis for the R138.
