II Model Year: As of 2017 Information: Retrofitting Note: Rear footwell lighting comprises two LED footwell lights. The LED footwell lights are installed in the footwell of the left and right rear seat. We recommend that you use rear footwell lighting in conjunction with the light design package (I-no. 630). Dimensions are given in millimeters. 1 2 – Lower edge of template – Axis of symmetry Figure 3 2.2 Stick adhesive tape (approx. 5 x 15 cm) Figure 4 -1- close to the latest cut-out on the carpet. Installation and Conversion Instructions 911 (991) 41/15 ENU 9615 9 Information To avoid damaging the wire harness (Fig. 9 -1-), pull the carpet forward (Fig. 9 -arrow-). 2.6 Cut out cut-out for LED footwell light using a carpet knife. Figure 9 WARNING Risk of short circuit and fire • due to work on the vehicle electrical system. When working on the electrical system, the battery must always be disconnected and covered. Always route the electrical wires without tension and so that no chafing occurs and secure to existing wires/components with tie-wraps/electrical tape. 3 Install electric wire harness. 3.1 Disconnect negative cable from the battery. Fit LED footwell light. 3.4.1 Plug in connectors on the LED footwell light until the connectors engage securely. 3.4.2 Carefully press LED footwell light into the carpet.
