Issue:
Creak noise heard from the rear edge of the roof moving /
opening panel in a closed position when driving over
uneven surfaces. Between the VIN range of V24464 to
V59436
Cause:
Moving panel rear edge interior tooth feature coming in to
contact with the roof frame when closed.
Each tooth on the rear edge of the moving panel is
approximately 15mm in length
Content Action:
First confirm that the noise is from this area by partially
opening the panel to the tilt position, does the noise
disappear.
If noise disappears then using the pictures in the
attachment for reference and using a suitable tool
remove one tooth from the outer rear edge (both
Sides) as circled in the pictures.
