Service Bulletin 16-037 May 25, 2016 04078 Version 1 O2 Sensor Bracket Rattle AFFECTED VEHICLES Year Model 2016 HR-V Trim 2WD only VIN Range ALL SYMPTOM At low speeds and light acceleration there is a rattle from the O2 sensor bracket. POSSIBLE CAUSES The O2 sensor bracket may not have the correct bend, allowing the harness to rattle. CORRECTIVE ACTION Replace the O2 sensor bracket. Remove the O2 sensor bracket and release the harness. 2. Inspect the bracket. • • If the bracket has a slight bend as shown, the bracket is good. Continue with normal troubleshooting. If the bracket has no bend, replace the bracket. 3. Install the new bracket and torque the nut to 9.4 N·m (6.9 lb-ft), Then install the harness to the bracket. END Page 2 of 2
