Background American Honda (AHM) is investigating certain 2005-2006 MDXs, 2007-2008 RDXs & 2005-2008 TLs with a client complaint of the HandsFreeLink (HFL) not working or the battery being too low to start the engine. To fully understand the cause of this condition, AHM would like to collect specific parts from the vehicle prior to you attempting a repair of any kind. Qualifiers AHM is interested ONLY if the vehicle meets the following requirements: 1. Troubleshooting has led to the replacement of the HFL unit for SB B08-057. Action Required If you have or know of such a vehicle, please call the Technical Research & Support (TRS) Group at 800-880-1072.
