TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED: 16-040 Warranty Extension: 2012 TL Torque Converter
Today, July 21, 2016, Acura temporarily suspended service bulletins 16-030, Product Update: Software Update for
Lock-up Function and 16-040, Warranty Extension: 2012 TL Torque Converter from the Service Information System and
VIN Inquiry due to concerns with software update VIN database mismatches. The database is expected to be updated by
the end of next week, at which time 16-030 and 16-040 will be reinstated on the Service Information System. Vehicles
already updated or repaired under either bulletin will not require further action due to this change.
Acura will notify all dealers via iN message once the situation has been resolved.
