REINSTATED: 16-052 Warranty Extension: 2011 – 12 Odyssey Torque Converter
Today, August 3, 2016, American Honda reinstated the temporarily suspended service bulletins 16-046, Product Update:
Software Update for Lock-up Function and 16-052, Warranty Extension: 2011 – 12 Odyssey Torque Converter from the
Service Information System. There were concerns with VIN Inquiry on iN and software update VIN database mismatches.
The HDS database has been updated with all affected vehicles. Vehicles can be updated or repaired under either
bulletin. Vehicles already fixed under either will not require further action due to this change; claims need to be
processed for the repairs if one was not submitted prior to July 21, 2016.
