Introduction
Some 2014 – 2015 model year Highlander vehicles may exhibit a condition when the A/C system
is turned ON, it may take a longer than expected amount of time until it begins to blow cool air.
Under certain conditions A/C cooling is delayed 90 sec. – 120 sec. An updated A/C compressor
and A/C amplifier are available to address this condition. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to
address this condition.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY
This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months
or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.
Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in
this bulletin.
