This document introduces the release of a revised air intake manifold cover and provides
service direction.

ISX12 G CM2180 EJ
Description of Change
The revised air intake manifold cover changes the location and orientation of the intake
manifold pressure/temperature on the air intake manifold cover. The new location moves
the intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor to a vertical orientation.
Service Directions
If the revised air intake manifold cover with a vertical intake manifold pressure/temperature
sensor is installed on an engine originally built with an air intake manifold cover with a
horizontal intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor, a new calibration must be installed.

In addition, jumper wiring harness, Part Number 5342078, must be installed to allow the
engine wiring harness to reach the new intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor
location.
See Table 1 for correct electronic control module (ECM) calibration based on the previous
ECM calibration code.

the new air intake manifold cover part number.

The Engine Serial Number (ESN) First for the new air intake manifold cover is 75036079
from Jamestown Engine Plant.
