SUBJECT: Service Campaign TlN - 2.0L Turbo Oil Feed Pipe Assy.
Replacement (TSB# 16-01-071)
Hyundai Motor America is conducting a Service Campaign to
replace the oil feed pipe assembly on certain 2011-14MY Sonata
and 2013-16MY Santa Fe Sport vehicles equipped with 2.0L turbo
engines. Service Campaign TlN provides a procedure to replace
the oil feed pipe assy.
In order to identify only those vehicles affected by Service
Campaign TlN, it will be necessary to access Hyundai Motor
America's "Warranty Vehicle Information" screen via WEBDCS
before starting the inspection.
The "Warranty Vehicle
Information" screen will identify affected vehicles with an open
Service Campaign TlN.
A listing of VEHICLES is also located on WEBDCS, SERVICE tab,
select INFORMATION, and select UNCOMPLETED CAMPAIGN VIN LISTING
-Dealer Stock and RetailedTSB #16-01-071 will be available on HMAService.com on December
21, 2016. It contains instructions on performing the service
procedure and submitting the campaign claim.
A limited shipment of oil feed pipe assy. began shipping on Dec.
20th to certain dealers with affected vehicles. Additional parts
can be ordered from your Facing PDC.
Oil feed pipe assy. will
be placed on "Campaign Parts Management" (CPM).
It is IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT A CAMPAIGN CLAIM FOR EACH VEHICLE
SERVICED so your dealership can be compensated for your work and
Hyundai can maintain accurate records of campaign completions.
