CONVERSION OF AUTO STEPS TO FIXED POSITION
APPLIED VEHICLE:
2014 – 2015 Taxi
SERVICE INFORMATION
Kits are now available to convert the auto steps to non-moving fixed steps.

This bulletin contains instructions to install the conversion kits.
NOTE: There are two kits (left side kit and right side kit). Both kits must be installed
at the same time.

Installation of the conversion kits is a customer choice.

The auto steps must not be physically damaged or bent. If there is any physical
damage, the conversion kits cannot be installed.
Conversion kit can be installed if:

The side steps are not physically damaged.

The auto function has stopped working and the customer chooses to install
conversion kits rather than repair the auto function.

The customer chooses to have this kit installed to disable the auto function.
Nissan Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are
properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job
properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO
NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle.
