Technical Background Microscopic movements between the wheel bearing and wheel bearing housing may cause the noise. (Front left and/or front right bearing can be affected.) Technical Service Bulletin Audi Service 1. On the affected side(s), remove any corrosion and dirt from the wheel bearing housing and the wheel bearing. 2. Using a brush, apply a thin coat of paste (part number G 052109A2) on the wheel bearing housing as shown (Figure 1). Make sure not to apply any paste on the threads. Figure 1. Area to apply paste.
