VWoA Compliance Subject: FW: Audi TDI Update From: Keogh, Scott Sent: Thursday, June 30, 2016 5:01 PM Subject: Audi TOI Update Dear Dealer Partners, I wanted to share some news about our latest progress toward resolving the TOI emissions issues. Today, the U.S. District Court in San Francisco held a status conference on the TOI diesel matter. As noted today in the Court, we have submitted a proposed remedy for the affected 3.0L TOI vehicles to the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board. This is now undergoing a thorough review, which includes durability testing, and we look forward to the next status update hearing on this matter on August 25. As you know, earlier this week we reached a proposed settlement with government authorities and the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee for our 2.0L TOI vehicles. You can read the details at www.vwcourtsettlement.com . Over the next month, customers and the public will have an opportunity to review and comment on the agreements. On July 26, the Court has scheduled a hearing on preliminary approval for the settlement. Volkswagen and Audi will begin the 2.0L TOI settlement program as soon as the Court grants final approval, which will occur in the fall of 2016 at the earliest. As I've said from the beginning, you didn't cause this problem, but you are playing a critical role in helping us fix it.
