CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation: The interior electrical switches and/or center division trim panel may show signs of peeling or
are sticky to the touch.
The following may be affected by this concern:
• Steering wheel switchpack - Left/right
• Air conditioning/radio control panel
• Luggage compartment lid release switch
• C enter division trim panel
• Transmission control switch
• Rear console climate control switchpack
• Front door glass lift switch - Driver-side
• Front door glass lift switch - Passenger-side
• Rear door glass lift switch
• Front seat control switch
Cause: This may be caused when the clear laquer coating peels or becomes sticky when exposed to a
combination of high temperature and humidity.
Action: In the event of a customer concern of this issue and one or more of the switch packs demonstrates
the above symptoms, renew ALL of the interior switches and trim items listed in the Parts section.
