GPS antenna is being replaced and is no fault found when tested by supplier Gen2.1 systems fitted to XJ and XF Current car position indicator will not lock onto correct location on map. Navigation will display 'GPS' icon when in Navigation split screen. This indicates GPS not available. In Control Touch fitted to XE and new XF Current car position indicator will not lock onto correct location on map. From the main menu select Information -Where am I - GPS. The current location will be given. Note: When testing the GPS a signal may not be detected inside buildings. This isn't an error state, hence it is important to verify functionality outside in open space. Cause Incorrect diagnosis Action Carry out vehicle hard reset. If 'GPS strike through' icon disappears (Gen 2.1) or current location is found (In Control Touch) then no further action is required.
