DTC B12CD-87 will be logged in the gateway module GWM). Cause: The ignition live input into the vehicle quality module (VQM), may have a poor connection, and/or no LIN circuit between the VQM & GWM. Action: Carry out these steps:1. Check ignition live circuit into VQM 6 way connector pin 2. Repair connection as required. 2. F-Type K22185 & XJ V90866 onwards - Check LIN circuit between VQM 6 way connector pin 4 & pin 13 of the GWM. Repair connection as required. 3. XE A900466 & New XF Y00001 onwards - Check LIN circuit between VQM 6 way connector pin 4 & pin 58 of the BCM. Repair connection as required. 4. If these steps do not resolve the issue, replace the VQM.
