The 2017 Outlander Blind Spot Warning/Rear Cross Traffic Alert Inspection Target will begin
shipping with your dealership stock order the week of 12/12/2016.
This tool is required to properly calibrate the Blind Spot Warning/Rear Cross Traffic Alert system
and verify correct radar operating angle.
The tool should be stored flat in its envelope until ready to use and away from water or
moisture. After use, unfold the target and replace in its envelope for protection.
Please ensure your technicians have enrolled in our newest Technical Training course –
Advanced Safety and Convenience Features 2 (ASCF2) to fully understand when utilization of
this tool is necessary, how to properly set it up, and to learn about many of the new features
offered on the 2017 Outlander, including:
